Ben is a highly motivated, incredibly hard working, creative and conscientious 1st AC / camera operator & CAA Drone Operator. He thrives on location and has worked in over 70 countries Worldwide for production companies & broadcasters ranging from Disney, Netfix, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Nat Geo, CBS, HBO and numerous independent and corporate organizations and now has the pleasure of seeing one of his latest feature documentaries ‘The Eagle Huntress’ which was shot in Mongolia, get short listed for a Oscar and nominated for a BAFTA..

His extensive experience spans a multitude of environments from Mongolia and the Arctic at -40 degrees, deserts at +50 degrees, hurricane seas in the mid Atlantic, high altitude, jungles, underwater, aerial, climbing work, boats, fast moving vehicles, very sensitive observational situations and day to day studio work…

He is an owner operator of an extensive DJI Inspire 2 kit with the X7 (6K) camera system, lenses, dual operator controls, 5 sets of flight batteries for 100mins of flight time without needing to charge anything and options of ether Apple ProRes or DNG RAW codecs.

Trained on all of Arri’s, RED’s, Sony’s & Panasonic’s cameras, he is a incredibly experienced focus puller and camera operator and is familiar with every camera accessory, light and piece of grip equipment thats on the market. DIT & Transcoding also available if needed.

Ben has a vast amount of experience travelling abroad with large amounts of camera equipment and is very comfortable dealing with customs and all necessary travel documents. He’s a holder of CAA Permissions to Comercially operate drones up to 20kg, holds  a US I Visa, an Indian Multi Trip Business Visa, has 2 x UK Passports, BCAP trained Climber, Hostile Environment / HSE First Aid At Work Trained, RYA PowerBoat level 2, BOSIET Offshore Trained, PADI Rescue Diver, A-License Skydiver, SUP Instructor & a very experienced Surfer/Skier…
